FUTURE KLF PROGRAMMES

 


Vernacular Literature Production and Promotion

  • To organise training and workshops such as Writers Seminar and In-House Editors' Workshop to mobilize more community involvement in mother-tongue preservation.

Providing Funding Support

  • To look for funding opportunities to support training requests of Kadazandusun language teachers in schools. In-House training courses for Kadazandusun language teachers in every district have been sponsored by the Progressive Education Foundation (PEF) since 1998.

Kadazandusun Language Class

  • To set up language class for adult students. Potential teachers will be those who have attended KLF's previous teachers training workshops and seminars.

Language Centres

  • To provide technical support, advice and consultancy to other indigenous language groups in setting up their respective language bodies. KLF currently hosts the "Murut Language Wing" and the "Rungus Language Centre" which contribute greatly to the preservation, promotion and the development of these languages.

KLF Building

  • To raise fund for KLF building to house its office and an Information /Resource Centre.
