October 2001, KLF Homepage Updating Project

KLF personnel with Mr. Kung Yuan Ket, Website Creator embarked upon a homepage updating project. The website's "New Look" plans to enhance user-friendly features on its new URL: www.klf.com.my/ . Interested website surfers are welcomed to browse the site by early November 2001. 2 November 2001, KLF "Open-House"

This year saw KLF 'move house'! The new location at New World Commercial Centre in Donggongon, Penampang is a two-lot premise that not only provides us with more room and space, but also promises to inject KLF personnel with creative energy.

The "Open-House" event saw some 70 of our network friends and partners come visit us at our new location. Highlights of the day: A "Power-Point" presentation on KLF activities Year 1996-2001, Tour of KLF's Resource Library and Membership Drive, Special Book Sale and Viewing of Photo Albums.

Some of our guests were: Institut Linguistik SIL - Malaysia Branch, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Perpustakaan Negeri Sabah (PNS), Sabah Museum, Sabah Archives, UPKO, Suausindak Preschool, PACOS, Teachers, RTM, INDEP and PEKADUS.

3 November 2001, KLF "Get-Together"

KLF organises a "Get-Together" this day to introduce KLF funders and sponsors to the current work of KLF. A re-cap of KLF founding years was presented in an information-packed "Power-Point" presentation.

This function highlight was the re-launching of KLF's web-site under the URL: www.klf.com.my/. The guest of honour for the day was Y.B. Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Bernard G. Dompok, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department who was KLF's founding Board of Trustee Chairman.

4 November 2001, The Launching of BUUK KALAJA' DOID BOOS KADAZANDUSUN (POGUHU MUGAD SIKUL)
Kadazandusun Language WorkBook (Pre-School)

The launching of the first-ever preschool workbook in the Kadazandusun language takes place simultaneously at the Suausindak's Year-end School Concert. The guest of honour also KLF Board of Trustee Chairman, YBhg. Tan Sri Simon Sipaun launches it.

The workbook will be primarily used at Suausindak as it teaches the Kadazandusun language in its main curriculum. PACOS-run community preschools throughout Sabah will also be implementing it.
