February 2004, KLF Fund Raising - Sales of Raffle Tickets

This is the first fund-raising activity of KLF for this year. The purpose of this event is to raise funds to purchase a vehicle for office use as well as to finance KLF's language preservation, maintenance and promotion activities, including supporting the teaching of the Kadazandusun language in Sabah schools.

April 2004, KLF Golf Fund Raising Activities

Organized "KLF GOLF 2004" to garner support and funding for KLF's work in preservation, maintenance and development of mother tongue-languages, 24-25 April 2004, Bongawan Golf & Country Club (BGCC). KLF Golf is a yearly event which aims to raise funds to finance and support KLF's work. Therefore this year's tournament - dubbed " KLF GOLF 2004" - once again provides golf enthusiasts an excellent opportunity to make their statement of support for this cause.

Kadazandusun Story Telling Competition (Piboi'an Mananong Id Kadazandusun) coordinated by Kadazandusun Language Foundation (KLF) in conjunction with Kaamatan Penampang District Level organized by Penampang District Office.

May 2004, United Nation Permanent Forum On Indigenous Issues III

KLF Executive Officer, Pn. Rita Lasimbang invited as a panel in the discussion "Indigenous Women's Issues In Literacy & Education' during United Nation Permanent Forum On Indigenous Issues III organized by United Nation at UN HQ New York City on May 2004.

July 2004, Launching Of Kamus Murut Timugon - Melayu

The first full Timugon Murut-Malay Bilingual Dictionary - a nearly 20 year old project funded by Kadazandusun Language Foundation (KLF) since 1983. The dictionary, having more than 4000 root words, is targeted at Malay speakers who want to learn the Timugon Murut Language. It is reference for understanding Timugon Murut as well as a tool to stimulate new vocabulary in conversion. This dictionary forms a permanent record of the current Timugon Murut lexicon. 

October 2004, Kadazandusun Spelling Bee Competition
